Past Performances	Sydney-born Alan Holley began composing in 1974. Since 1980 his work has received support from
Curriculum Vitae	the Australia Council. Regularly performed and broadcast in Australia, his music continues to become
Repertoire	better known in America and Europe. Major compositions include the Opera Dorothea (1988), the
Premieres	song cycle Rama’s Lament (1989), Borneo Songs (1994), Ophelia (1997) and Gold Songs (1998),
Reviews	all written with librettist Jyoti Brunsdon. In 1995 EMI Australia published Summer Bird and other
Recordings	pieces for Trumpet and Birds of Opal and other pieces for Flute. In 1996 13 works were selected for
Picture Gallery	inclusion in the AMEB examination syllabus. In 1999 a CD of his works was released on the MBS
